Hi! My name is Eliana and I am a member of the BA Plus staff and I will teach you the indefinite and definite articles.

In Spanish, every noun has a gender, masculine or feminine. The masculine nouns are finished in O, N or L. For example: “librO”, “avióN”, “papeL”. The masculine article is “EL”.

The feminine nouns usually end with A, D, CIÓN or SIÓN. For example: “mesa”, “verdaD”, “lecCIÓN”, “expreSIÓN”. The feminine article is “LA”.

These articles are the equivalent of “THE”. The equivalent of “A” are “UN” for masculine and “UNA” for feminine.

I hope to teach you the plural of definite and indefinite articles, hopefully at the school!
